Next, you’ll need to predict what you’ll observe (your hypothesis):
- Increasing/ decreasing … will increase/ decrease the amount of fizz
- Increasing/ decreasing … will increase/ decrease the length of time the bath bomb lasts
- Increasing/ decreasing … will improve the smell of the bath bomb
Making a prediction is an important part of planning an experiment because it helps you focus your plans and ensure you measure the correct dependent variable to prove/ disprove your hypothesis.
