This week-long camp in July gives students from any country (not just Europe) aged 17-20 the opportunity to learn about Space Physics and Engineering at a real, active rocket range in Norway.

Participants attend a variety of inspirational talks, exciting practical workshops, tours, social activities and their very own rocket launch! Fun competitions such as mini rocket races and engineering challenges keep students entertained, while they also have opportunities to learn from top researchers about the physics of space and potentially observe real rocket launches.

This is a fantastic opportunity to find out whether a degree in physics/ engineering might be right for you, explore your interest in space, and give your personal statement/ CV a boost!

Scholarships are available for all participants to cover all the costs of the camp – although students are required to cover the transportation to the rocket centre’s airport.

Check out this blog post about one past participant’s experience in 2013!

Applications are open until 1st April 2016, but require detailed application materials including a CV and reference letter – so get started on your application now! More information and the application form are available on their website.

If this isn’t for you but you want to find out about other STEM opportunities, don’t forget to search the database!
